Fifth grade is busy learning and having fun! In math, students are building their skills with adding and subtracting decimals, while in science, we are exploring matter and its properties. In writing, students are working hard on their opinion essays, using strong reasons, evidence, and elaboration to support their ideas. We are also beginning our first book report of the year! To add a little spooky fun to our learning, students will be stepping into the role of real estate agents as they create a persuasive pitch to try to sell a haunted house. We can’t wait to see their creativity come to life!
